I would change "gonna" to "going to". But, in a song, it really doesn't matter so much. Also, "like me" isn't as good as "such as I" but that would sound funny in a song. It's close enough for a song, but not for an essay or something formal.

Depends what you mean by "grammatically correct." It is normal conversational English.
If "gonna" is not a word, what is it?
We say
"I'm gonna go shopping."
We don't say
"I'm gonna the bank."
In other words, "gonna" requires a following verb. It's a modal, like "will" or "should". It is a word.

Well, exactly like you, no. But similar? Possibly. Gonna is bad grammar, but I wouldn't be surprised when the next update for Webster's comes out you'll see it as a colloquialism or something like that. :) Did you know unibrow is now in the new Webster's?
