Um, did you read the story and find out why the truck exploded? It wasn't even being driving, it was parked and another fire on the site got out of hand and started the truck filled with explosives on fire, then boom. That could have happened anywhere, and it happened in Mexico by the way. Please try to keep to the facts, it makes your concerns more plausible.

2 years in the past a Mexican truck driving force interior the San Diego area killed 2 little ones and their grandparents who have been there on trip from the east coast. The CHP stated it grew to become right into a defective truck not the drivers fault. So no arrest grew to become into made however the rigidity and truck disappeared around the Mexican border never to be seen lower back and No recourse for the kinfolk.

Well lets grab another headline: Canadian truck driver falls asleep at the wheel, crashes rig full of trash on U.S. highway, shuts down Interstate 94 (both directions) for 12 hours. Driver is a foreign national (from a Muslim country) with Canadian work visa. In the U.S. illegally. Canadian insurance company will not pay claims to clean up mess. Democrats ignore problem. I guess it will take a foreign national with a Canadian work visa to drive a truck full of dynamite to a populated city and kill thousands before we question THEIR qualifications or ask who is behind the wheel of CANADIAN trucks.

I read your article with interest, It is going to be a carnage when the Mexican Truck Drivers get going. I don't know when the monetary enrichment of Mexican Drivers
became more important than human life. Most people have no idea of the issues involved and the lack of qualifications of most Mexican Drivers. They have no CDL, their standards for safety are non-existent and so forth and so forth. All I can save is get out of their way!

Yes. I hope the Teamsters protests this all the way to the Supreme Court. Most Mexican truckers don't carry insurance and do not follow the same standards as US truckers. Time for a states-rights crackdown. I hope the CHP pulls over everyone for an inspection. Fail it and lose your truck.

We're in for a nightmare. Their standards for vehicle safety are low, a lot of their drivers aren't insured or licensed. When they get into accidents and kill Americans they'll run away if they can and they'll have no assets to sue for if they don't run. I live in Los Angeles. Most truck drivers here are illegals and don't speak English. It's only going to get worse.

FYI Congress voted down the pilot program allowing Mexican trucks to haul cargo into the US, so there is a good chance it's not going to happen.

I think what will come will be even worse. Drive like your life depends upon it. Unless they kill a politician's family - then this will change.
