I have to wonder, with all the fighting and dissension on this site, wouldn't that just turn a person off of wanting to convert?
I have my own convictions and I am respectful of others' decisions. I think it is really sad when people give others thumbs down for expressing those. How else are we going to know what makes a Christian or an Atheist tick? If we have no information and go on supposition or pre-conceived notions, that makes us narrow-minded, ignorant and obnoxious. I have learned a lot about both sides from this site and I don't know how many of the people who respond on here, I would be willing to meet in person.

Thank you Jedi Mystic, this is the kind of answer I was looking for, just how it has impacted our views. It is amazing the damage we can do with our words, isn't it?

Very well said, AHMAD FUAD Harun, it is not the number of people saved, it is the thousands of questions that require an answer.

MWAP...redemption would mean a fractional value would be placed on you and you would have an expiry date.
Interesting, we are worthless and we are gonna die...

Dear,
My answer is "Most probably true".
In a way you are right.
Yahoo! Answer is a place of knowledge. There's questions and there's answers. Some are knowledgeable and some are not. Some answers with a word and some are lengthy. Some are serious and some are not.
More often than not, some answer seriously with reference and lot of time taken in answering to a question and the answer is lengthy. Most probably the kind of answers are been look forward as knowledge to all.
How many been saved through Yahoo! Answers. My Answer is "There are". The number been save are not really being survey. The evident; Thousand of Questions that have not been Answered. That's show great contributions made by Yahoo! Answers members. At all times there are questions. At all times all question have an answers. There's not enough time to answer.

I have personally been saved by Y!A. Saved from countless hours of doing anything productive with my life.
Really though, I don't have a problem with thumbs down. I'd rather get one-hundred thumbs down than no ratings at all, simply for the fact that I know that someone took the time to read my answer, and that I provoked some kind of reaction in them. I don't care if they agree with me or not, I'm not looking for validation of my viewpoints here.
I don't want to change anyone's mind about anything. I do want to understand what they think or believe. By the nature of the subject matter in this category, there are going to be disagreements, and that's fine. It would be nice if everyone could be respectful--I really don't think that disagreeing with someone should be a personal attack. Some people seem to me to be entirely too attached to their beliefs and opinions.

The responses from your question have caught my attention . I am impressed by the answers I have seen. I dont think the thumbs up or down should matter. People should be allowed to express themselves freely. With in reason.I feel all that needs to be said has been summed up by the majority of your responders. THUMBS UP TO ALL

As a Christian, I have learned a lot regarding Jesus Christ & other religions.
Once a long while ago I had a dream of a spiritual birth. Questioning God about it, it was someone on Yahoo Q&A. Someone I didn't know personally, but someone who was somehow connected with me through Yahoo.
I had a similar vision, later when my sister n law confessed Jesus Christ her Lord & I was her witness.

He who speaketh upon the wisdom of the Y!Abut shall ne'er be saved. Let onlyeth those with stones cast the first stone. If ye shall be redeemed, that maketh thee a coupon.
