i really REALLY want to get married outdoors, and i'm in a fight with my mom over this right now. we're (me and my fiance) thinking may wedding, in a tent, and if possible, ceremony outside. but i cant find a location. we were hoping for something that's kinda woodsy, but possibly has a paved/cement/brick area that we can put the tent over so just in case it does rain, it wont be too muddy in the tent. does anyone know any nice areas to look at? we're hoping for something in Fairfax county, as thats where we live and all of our family has to fly in from out of state so we dont want them driving all over NoVa.

i was totally at the bridal show all afternoon! lol, unfortionitly there were mostly hotels and historical sites... :(

How about at one of the beautiful wineries that we have in Northern Va? In Leesburg, (Loudoun County) we have the Tarara Winery and they do weddings, and they have a bed and breakfast on the grounds as well. Perhaps some of your guests would even want to stay there.

The state fair in Lewisburg, Black water falls, Lost world caverens Hiking, most of this is in Lewisburg Blackwater falls is in Davis. Have fun
