A lot of athletes such as swimmers and runners shave their legs -- somehow they think it makes them faster!

When a man shaves his legs, it has nothing to do with being gay. In fact, very few homosexual men shave their legs. Many men shave their legs when they swim on a team, bike professionally, or play soccer because it allows them not to have their hairs jumping in the wind which would slow them down. Just because a man is cute and clean does not necessarily make him gay. The same goes for wearing earrings. By the way, gay men make very good pals so instead of showing your homophobia, you should learn something about the gay culture.

A lot of us shave not just our legs but all of our body hair. I think the social pressure (not b/c you need to as an athlete but just to look "good") is only really there in the big cities. I hope you realize that like 90% of guys are NOT naturally hairless. So, just b/c you don't see them buying nair, that doesn't mean they don't shave body hair. And all those "Hollywood hunks" you probably enjoy watching, I'm sure they all shave everything. Direct answer to your question, tons of straight guys shave their legs, arms, chests, etc.

Gay? Maybe.

You need to consider if he's a swimmer, because those guys shave all the time to reduce drag. Some guys play sports where they need to tape their knees & ankles, and it's less painful to remove tape from bare skin.

The next option is the one that you may want to think about. He could be a weight lifter...or just really vain. Both categories really like to look at themselves and see all of the definition of their muscles.

Personally, I'd tell you that someone who needs to shave his legs for non-athletic-performance reasons should be approached with caution. Because seriously: aren't you looking for a guy who want's to look at YOU more than they want to look at THEMSELVES????

He might be a swimmer or a football player. Almost 100% of the competitive guy swimmers that I know shave their legs so that they go faster through the water. I know it sounds weird but that's what they do. Also, football players will shave around their ankles because of the tape they wrap around their shoes/ankles, etc..... or that dude just might have just been slightly odd and had a thing for shaving his legs...who knows, lol.

He talked to you and said you were pretty then nope he isn't. There's always the possibility that he could be bi. Though really it is not an indication of sexual orientation. Esp as the media more than ever before want to sell the image of hairless body for either sex and super hair on the head just to improve one's attractiveness to the public - would not be surprised if some men are heading to the waxing salons esp for back hair. Reminds me a bit of that movie 40 yr Virgin where his pals convinced him to get waxed as one of the ways to attract women.

He could be metro sexual. However most men don't its one difference that separates us. Unless he's a model or doing it for some other reason other than cosmetic you may be looking at a DL (down low)brother. Baby people don't "sound" gay or always look like the gay stereotype so be careful with that one because you could offend someone on here.

If you are so concerned, why didn't you just ask the guy. He could be just a clean person. Have you ever heard the phrase Don't Judge a BOOK by it's cover? You also need to come to terms with yourself about your fiance'. Do you really love him?

Dude sounds NEUROTIC - probably has some weird issues with hair, or he is a swimmer or professional cyclist - but seriously, WHY would YOU care, or why should it matter - if you are with a guy, you should not be entertaining ideas about other guys or having personal conversations with strange men.
