If the Sixth Sense is controlled by the brain, just like the other senses, and if we can call a person who uses sixth sense a psychic or medium, would you agree that the gift of premonition and healing with hands, just to mention two examples, might come from the brain? Therefore we all can be psychic and mediums to a certain degree, all we need to do is practice!

yes Janet, we all have the ability to transcend to another level. We are only limited by our own thoughts.
We are all able, we just need to be open to the experience without judgment or fear.
Blessed Be

Hi and good morning Janet....In my opinion on your question is that I believe some individuals might have a stronger Sixth Sense than others. Now I have talked with quite a few 'mediums and psychics on this issue from time to time throughout the years and the majority have told me that those born under the sign 'Pisces' have more of a psychic ability than others. Now why I'm not certain but this was their answer to me. Now they also informed me that some individuals do have the ability to have a sixth sense but don't believe in the capability or they feel it's from evil sources or they just don't practice the art. My daughter and I have the capability we just don't practice the concept. Have a great day!

i do not think it is a question of practicing more than it is how much or our brain we use.
Most of us know that humans do not use even 15% if their suspected brain capacity, so in my opinion those that can access regions of their minds that the average person cannot is what allows these odd occurrences.
In other ways they are brought on by bad things such as with my friend who had a tumor on her brain. Until it was removed she said she used to get visions, not premonitions but more like post cognition watching herself do something she had already done earlier. the Doc's said it was due to the tumor and since it's removal three weeks ago she has not had one vision that I know of yet.
So did the tumor allow her access to a part of her brain of was it causing her to hallucinate? I do not know. i do know that no one knows for sure what our minds are capable if we were to use 100% of it. so yes i think this things are from the mind and you can only practice it if you can already do it, i am unsure if you can be taught to access those regions or not, that is a whole different topic. If you can then sure practise but I do not think you can so easily if you cannot already do so.
Yes I think to a degree we are all psychic, small sessions of it like when the phone rings and you know who it is, or the door bell and you know who it is. Wake up from a dream about someone and then see them that day. To me those are all in a way Psychic events that no one has control over they just are. I think when we sleep we are able to sub consciously access some regions we cannot when awake.
Dream studies i think have been and are being done in this region I just could not tell you who to be exact.
(I do not think it is supernatural or anything of the sort, it is just Humans accessing more of thier brains) In some cases it is said to have been divine, who knows maybe so maybe not, it is up to you to decide what you believe not any one else.

People see and feel what they want to. It's like when you are thinking of buying a new car, you see that particular car everywhere. In the same way, whatever ideas we have in our minds about what reality is, is what reality is for us. Most of us have been conditioned by society, our parents, our friends and the educational system to believe in a certain way. That doesn't mean that those ideas are true or absolute. Most people have been taught to contract their consciousness, to hold it in a tight, limited way. This is why those people do not have any sort of psychic abilities, they have excluded that from their field of possibilities. The truth is when you relax your consciousness and let go fo preconceived ideas of reality, you find that reality is much larger and expansive than you thought it was :-)

The notion of extra-sensory perception existed in antiquity. In many ancient cultures, such powers were ascribed to people who purported to use them for second sight or communicate with deities, ancestors, spirits, and the like.
Extra-Sensory Perception (ESP) is defined as ability to acquire information by paranormal means independent of any known physical senses or deduction from previous experience. The term was coined by Duke University researcher J. B. Rhine to denote psychic abilities such as telepathy, precognition and clairvoyance.[1] [2] ESP is also sometimes casually referred to as a sixth sense. The term implies sources of information currently unexplained by science.

It's a more believable theory then any supernatural explanation. Energy already existing in the body being channeled. That's of course if there was any actual evidence of a sixth sense in the first place!

Six sense is controlled yes by the brain, and also by the spirits soul since it's all entwined... your thoughts and spirit is what communicates and tunes into the spiritual world where God spirit is, and all this healing and unlimited power comes from.
I have experienced and seen this healing power work many times.

Sixth sense is beyond brain, it comes from mind. Mind is not located in the brain. Brain is a receiver and the channel we tune into is what we "think" of as "my" thoughts. Everyone possesses mind so there is no sole ownership to it.

There is no proved "sixth" sense. Psychics and mediums are frauds or deluded at best.
