Repeating the same sin over and over (even if you ask for forgiveness) is called licentiousness. That's kind of like when a burglar is sorry, but really he's sorry he was caught and goes right back to the same old patterns after getting out of jail. True repentance, like others have said, is turning from your sin...asking God to help you make different choices. It's not a "get out of jail free" card. Hope that helps.

True repentance means "turning away" - that's what the word means, so if you repeat the same sins without ever trying to change, that's merely being sorry, which is not the same thing.
True repentance, meaning you're so sorry that you actually want to change your ways, will always be forgiven, and God promises to forgive this, and will be there to help you when you fail now and then.

You apparently haven't suffered enough yet. The lifestyle you are leading has been led by many others before you. Some of them truly repented prior to experiencing serious pain and suffering related to their sinful lifestyle and some did not. God will allow you to reap what you sow. If you sow to the flesh, you will reap of the flesh and if you sow to the Spirit, you will reap of the Spirit. God is not mocked. Whatever a person sows, that shall they also reap.

I pray that you will truly repent before suffering inevitably comes to you.

True repentance results in a changed life. Yours apparently has not changed, so apparently you have not truly repented. Seems like you have only spoken some insincere words.

God does love you. Remember that the suffering you are bringing upon yourself is God allowed, not God delivered. Blame yourself, not Him.

Its not called repenting if you still have the desire in your heart you have to consciously know that what you are doing is wrong and know if it is going to cause problems, then discuss this with God, and ask The Lord for strenght, because first of all we are not expected to fight things on our own, sin is in our nature, only The Lord can help us when we ask His Guidance to do the right thing,
Then when we do the right thing, God will start leading us in the direction that He has intended, God already knows what will happen, so isn't it best to listen to someone that knows what sort of trouble we will get into before it happens.

If you don't actually regret what you did and feel remorse, than you would not be forgiven for it...

It is possible to commit the same sin again through weakness and still be repentent in both cases.

True repentence means to turn away from, not go back, the women at the well, Jesus forgave her sin, but told her to go and sin no more. I know it is hard, we all struggle in life with things, but gods word is black and white.

The best way I know is to dig in to the tools of walking with God. Fasting that will help get your desires under control; along with praying and reading the Bible. Most off all ask God to change you. I've found that many times I had the same problem and needed the Holy Ghost to intervene. It helped me alot.

The apostle Peter describes the destiny of those who continue in sin, especially the repetition of the same sin over and over again.

For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.
2 Peter 2:20-22

This an example of willful sin and a truly unrepentant heart. When we are convicted by the Holy Spirit of our sins and repent there is a change in our lives and we desire to follow God in spirit and truth. Delayed obedience is disobedience. And disobedience has only one result, eternal separation from God.

The prophet Samuel declared to King Saul, " Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams; For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.
1 Samuel 16:15

Saul lost his kingdom because of disobedience and we will lose the heavenly kingdom of Almighty God if we knowingly continue in sin.

If you are suposedly repenting and then doing what you suposedly repented from right after then you haven't truly repented.

Repent means to turn away. So if you have truly turned away from your sin then you won't have a desire to go back to it. You need to explore whether you are repenting or simply confessing your sins.

Reconciliation with God and your fellow man involves three things - contrition, confession and pennance. It sounds like you may be a bit lacking in the pennance.

Pennance is an outward act of internal conversion. Sin is an action, thought, or attitude that takes us away from God. Pennance brings us back.

It sounds like you need god's grace to keep you from sinning. You can receive God's grace in the sacrament of Reconciliation.
