I use clipless peddles and road shoes, so i want room to store the shoes while I walk around, also school books if possible.
I was thinking about a camelbak, any recomendations?

I hate changing shoes after cycling... just a thought here, but why not get a pair of MTB clipless shoes, or even some of those comfort ones? You can both ride and walk in those.

Thats what I do on my commutes. I too have a pair of road bike shoes and they are terrible for walking (dangerous too, I should add), but MTB shoes are just fine. This way, you backpack is lighter ;) no matter what brand you choose.

the chrome metropolis pack is the best cycling bag made. its a bag made for bike messengers and rides high on your back so it doesn't hit the seat. it hold a ton of weight comfortably and is the perfect size. downside is the price at around $160 i believe. although it'll last you forever and its waterproof.

timbuck2- i swear by it. i use a medium size, but a large is probably better. these are messenger specific bags. they are designed by cyclists for cyclists and have been around for years. ive had mine for almost 10 years now and i beat the hell out of it daily. it took me through college , bike messenger work, and brutal commutting. its pushed under my desk as we speak. this is not a bag for doing centuries in , though i have, it is a cargo bag that is comfortable to wear and compresses naturaly by geometry and body shape. you will not be disapointed- i swear

Looks at bags made by a company called Chrome. They make bags specifically for cycling in all sizes and shapes.

A set of back panniers is what I use on my daily commute. They eliminate the sweaty back problem with wearing a pack and is better for your back.
