Father K, mediums and psychics are not instruments in human beings' hands and their gifts are not to be used in vain purposes. They are instruments in God's hands and in the spirits' hands. That's why they don't guess numbers of lottery, just to satisfy your vanity. They don't know what they want to know either, they know what spirits want them to know.

Hug Brigade, there is a fine line that divides Mediums from Psychic. You are right, mediums can be psychic, but psychic CAN also be mediums, if you consider the fact that many so-called psychic actually receive messages and/or visions from spirits. I know a lot of people that tell the future reading tarot, because they are connected to gipsy spirits. Mediums and psychics are not far from each other at all. Medium is a term usually used by spiritualists and psychic is a term used by psycologists(doctors), and both have their Sixth Sense a lot more sensible than other people and that is the point of my question.

hunnie they arent the same thing
a psychic uses their sixth sense ( intuition ) to tune into the energy ( auric field ) of a living person
a medium raises their awareness ( frequency/vibrations ) as spirit lowers their , so that communication is possible
all mediums are psychics but not all psychics are mediums

hi and sturdy morning Janet....for my area on your question is that i've got faith some persons would desire to have a more suitable 6th sense than others. Now I even have talked with fairly some 'mediums and psychics in this difficulty sometimes for the period of the years and maximum human beings have instructed me that those born decrease than the sign 'Pisces' have greater of a psychic skill than others. Now why i'm no longer particular yet this grew to become into their answer to me. Similar perhaps but not necessarily the same thing.
Personally, when I was younger, I sought to find the answer, according to The Bible. Simply put - it is wrong, by my understanding.
Nonetheless, I believe that ESP (in general) exists, though there is no scientific proof of such.
I used to play with Psychomitry, and became very accurate using it. Even to the point of identifying a pregnant woman within only hours (less than 10) of her conceiving. Simply by holding her ring in my hands for a few minutes..
I could go on - I don't think of it as 'right or wrong'. It is simply a 'gift' or talent I have learned. I rarely use it in these days but I am a firm believer that such abilities exist.

I do know these are all related in some ways.... these abilities vary widely depending on the individual....no one person is exactly the same.
Example.... I know I have the ability as a medium to draw in spirits, tune in to the spirit world, actually it's way to easy to do. but do you have the ability to see, hear, feel and or telepathic. I have done some things that I never thought was possible or heard of, but I believe I had help from my SGuide.

Mostly those things are the result of a person being particularly unaware of his/her surroundings, thus failing to notice his/her failures.
Of course there's also the deliberate scams, but the sincere psychics/mediums are nothing more than people who want to be special in some way, and have managed to keep from noticing that they're not doing any better than the chance level.

Psychic is somebody suffering fro perception disorder; meduim is somebody under influence of external psychological impulses and sixth sense means capability to pre-empt the future of some event or situation as such not the samething but belong or emanate from the same source.

I know a lot from first hand experience. I guess you could say it is slightly genetic in my family. It is amazing, scary, tiring and peaceful all at the same time. My first experience was when I was only 6, my mom thought I brought the devil into our house. No devil involved, just a connection I have little control over.
