Hi Pretty,
I am a faithful Christian who does believe in Heaven and in Hell. Heaven is described very well in the BIBLE. I understand that Heaven will be a place in the LIGHT and in the Presence of our FATHER. HELL will be torturous and will be without HIS ETERNAL LIGHT. It will be void of HIS ETERNAL LOVE. Have a wonderful week.
Thanks,
Eds

I believe there is a heaven and a hell. I can't say that I know, because I've never been to either. The Jehovah's Witnesses spoke to me a few times and they really messed my head up about hell. Heaven is a place where God is worshipped and I can't wait to see Jesus so I can thank Him for saving me. Hell is eternal agony. I've been influenced by different people, some who contradict each other. Sometimes I wonder if God knew that He would be risking millions of souls burning forever, why would he allow that possibility?

When I think of hell, visions of high school always come to mind. Heaven brings to mind fuzzy pajamas.
Truthfully, if I had a choice, I'd rather go to Vegas.

I don't think of heaven and hell as real places, but I do think humans can produce their own varieties on earth.
Here are the concepts I associate with each word:
Heaven: love, sex, music, books, chocolate, exercise, television, family, friends, learning, dancing, freedom, limited government
Hell: hunger, poverty, starvation, disease, malnutrition, Shariah law, tyrannical government, sexism, female genital mutilation, ignorance, fanaticism, tyranny, religious fundamentalism, denial of science, malaria
But those are my personal definitions.
Unfortunately, hell is a real place for some people around the world. But I reject it as a religious concept.

Heaven and hell are both states of Being here. It is easy to tell where a person is in that regard. Jesus said,"The Kingdom of Heaven is within." All who abide in the Kingdom are "IN" the Kingdom NOW.

Heaven and Hell is a club in Adams Morgan, Washington DC. I always liked Hell better but I was in the minority.

There is no Heaven. We all go to the same place, a beautiful place that we can call Heaven, but it is a place where everybody goes, where we have the chance to learn from past mistakes and be prepared to be born again. After several lives and achieving a higher level of spirituality, we don't have to be born again, we will stay in the spiritual world, helping those who still struggle on Earth.
There is no Hell. Inferior spirits, those carrying anger, jealousy, revenge, envy and selfishness stay strolling on Earth and destroying human being's lives by leading them to suicide, to murder, to rape, to steal, to drugs, to alcohol, to promiscuous sex, to adultery, and everything else that we see in our world.
Peace!

Heaven -- lots of angels strumming harps with soothing music. Hell -- lots of devils doing the things Al Gonzales said are ok to do to suspects.
