Yes, I have gotten warnings from YahooAnswers for my speaking ot as well. It seams they want to put this fourm together but the only want happy cheery thing talked about instead of real llife.
It seams that maybe Yahoo employees Illegal Immigrants, maybe? And that is why they have been suspending them. And for crying out loud, we wouldn't want to offend anyone in the country here ILLEGALLY but letting American Citizens voice thie feelings.
Just a way of censorship. Another way that ILLEGALS are trying to control our country.

I know quite a few who have had their accounts suspended. Some have told me that they suspect that the illegal immigrant support groups are violating people. Others have stated that those of us who are law-abiding citizens and truly appreciate free speech won't report the pro-illegal immigrant violators and we won't suppress their free speech because doing so would make us become what we're fighting. The fact is that no matter what Yahoo Answers does, they cannot control what people do and say away from this website. So by violating only specific types of answers, they simply enflame the people and underscore the fact that law-abiding citizens are discriminated against while illegal immigrants and their supporters can do and say whatever they wish. Which would you rather see, a knock-down drag out, no holds barred, argument on Yahoo Answers or violence in the streets? Freedom of speech should be celebrated and the arguments and feelings expressed on this and every other "discussion" site should be embraced instead of violated. By arguing and expressing our views without censure, we are actually giving others, who may at times be more level-headed and capable of mediating, a better look at what kinds of compromises and mediations will broker an acceptable agreement to all sides. I'd much rather see a war of words than a war of bombs, guns, and bloodshed. Promoting a degree of anonymity allows for freedom of expression and doesn't give violence a visible target.
Oh, and it seems that the people who have talked to me about this issue claim that once a person gets to 1,500 or 3,000 points, they generally can look forward to violations. I don't understand why except that maybe their voices are heard more often as is evidenced by the number of points they accrue or maybe they become more jaded or outspoken as they realize what is truly happening. Either way, Yahoo can do what it wants.

Many have had their question and answers taken off. Remember one only has to be 13 yrs old to get in here and IQ even less. Those are the pro group.
They can't write or depend their position so they use the abuse button.
To have your account suspended I'd contact Yahoo. Email them every day and respond to the ones they say don't respond.
It is like hitting the 0 button on the telephone to get to a live person.
If they don't like different views they should take off the category.
The immigration issue Legal/ Illegal problems is a growing concern in every place in this country. Mass immigration of any is hurting the American citizens and the legal immigrants
No country that wants to come into the 21th high technology society needs mass population. In fact we need less population to have a quality of life and one that can support its population.
We are not hunter and gathers anymore. If we continue this path driven by cheap labor instead of R&D of high techology that has been shelved for this insidiours mass cheap labor we will drift back into the 13th century.
If yahoo and the staff that works for the company thinks what we say is bad. I feel really sorry for them because this will effect their future.

LOL...geez I'm on account number 5 or 6.
I was hacked the first time. Level V, Top Contributor, etc. After that , who cares?
ALthough it is amusing to have a suspended account and still get Best Answers from it, contact requests, etc.

Depends on how badly you violated the rules and which rules. I got to keep my email and addressbook. I didn't have a Yahoo page (or at least I don't think I did) but a friend who was joking around like the "What Should I Do Retard" and asking silly questions lost EVERYTHING in November 2006 and never got any of it back.

After 2000 points in one month I got a violation notice because I said I thought a question was stupid. It was one of those non-sensical rants about how nobody is illegal and people lied at Ellis Island, blah blah blah.
There was nothing about killing cops like I see in the Law Enforcement Forum, just I thought the question was stupid.
It is a really poor policy when they just automatically dock you because a person clicked on the report button. If they are going to be the thought police they need to actually put some thought into it.

I was level 4 and was suspended but I am still getting best answers on the suspended account. I have received best answer and violation notice on the same answer! But, as I answered another question, they could just follow FCC regulations like other private companies do instead of being the thought police. Another reason to keep foreigners from starting businesses here.

My level 7 ---- 37,000 pt account was suspended for using the accepted term for babies born to illegal aliens on US soil for the purpose of "anchoring" them to this country. Apparently, it's a TOS violation. Apparently it's a bad enough violation that they suspended the account that I had been using for 3 years.
Luckily for me, the points aren't an issue for me anymore...and quite frankly, the yahoo account isn't either. It's my "junk e-mail account". I considered fighting with them over it and decided...nyah...just open a new account like everyone else.

After 7 years of using Yahoo as my mailer and homepage I was suspended right after starting to use Answers. I have only been suspended that one time but have been kicked out of Answers 12 times now. After losing the first id with all my addresses and contacts for im and all my saved mail i really don't care if they suspend me anymore. I have my e-mail and all other things important with another supplier. So today I'm Sherilynne-B13 and by next week look for Sherilynne-B14 or 15 to be protesting the illegal occupation of our country and suggesting you vote for pols who wil deport!
