Im a city driver so Im in traffic alot (edsa, ortigas, c5 to libis). I get 8 to 9.5 km/litre in my tucson diesel automatic using Shell diesel. I have no complaints other than I wish it came with more airbags.

Its a very good small SUV for use on paved roads and graded dirt roads. Its been a popular seller for Hyundai and is of very good quality. Fuel economy isn't all that great and if that's a concern I suggest you get the Elantra. SUV's in general get 2-4 mpg fewer then a car of the same size due to gear ratio's, weight and aerodynamics.

Best advice is not to waste your money on a Hyundai. They are poor quality and unreliable.
