You know Anil.. i just love ur questions.. I'll get around to answering them all soon. But yes.. regarding this matter of " Free will" I do believe that we have the will to choose between God's Will and Satan's Will.
Before man was even created these two Wills were in existence. God's will was first, then we see in the Book of Isaiah that Lucifer began to speak of ' I WILL be like the Most High.. I WILL exalt my throne to the North... etc"
YET.. God in His creation of man did not take away that ability to choose. That's why there were two trees in the garden.
Today we still have that free will to choose. The will is free but the choices are FIXED. Even thought we may want to believe it.. we are NOT free agents in this World. There are bigger things that we were created INTO that our will sides with. Be it for God or Satan. I ask the Lord to empower my will to choose Him. That I will be clear regarding His Will in my own life. This is a daily kind of opening up to the Lord and prayer to the Lord.
I truly love ur deep questions that make us stop and think in a way that goes beyond the superficial.
Take good care my friend:)

Human souls were created before time began, as the angels were. We were created in spirit form with free will. The first fall of man actually happened in the spirit world . We are the ones that left the Father and took our free will with us. Later souls incarnated in the earth realm as physical beings, still along with our free will. We retained the knowledge of the universal laws which had all the knowledge and power as the Prime Creator, I don't like referring to the creator as God because that implies an ego, which the creator does not have. The Bible states that "ye are gods. With all that power we desired to become like the Most High and used our free will and our creative abilities for our own satisfaction. This is where evil began. Prime Creator could not allow this because we would have remained forever with the knowledge of good and evil and would have lived forever in the fallen state. That was when we were cast out of the garden without the knowledge and the abilities we had before the first fall. We still have our free will to use for good or evil, its our choice. We have the choice to go back into Prime Creator if we desire, that is what free will is. Jesus came to remind us of who we were and taught us how to use our free will "be perfect as I am perfect". It is taught in the Bible that in the end of days He, Prime Creator will bring to our remembrance the things we knew before the world was, and with knowing and remembering that perfect we were in we will choose to use our free will to return to the Prime Creator. With all the hell we have lived in after leaving our Father our greatest will, will be to return back into Him.

Yes we all have an absolutely free will. That is exactly the reason why we are different from other animal species. Our greatest test is how we use this free will that has been endowed to us by God. The decisions taken by our free will make up our deeds both good and bad. Our deeds keep us bound to an endless cycle of birth-life-death-rebirth and our main goal is to liberate ourselves from this endless cycle. Only those who strive to liberate themselves are using their free will in a positive manner all others are continuing to get deluded by the magic created by God. Each of our deed is based upon our free will and whatever results that are faced by us in this life are nothing but the consequences of our deeds performed through our absolutely free will. We cannot blame anybody for our misfortunes nor can we give credit to anybody for our fortunes, because nature magically suits a man to his fortunes, by making them the fruit of his character. And remember that character is a manifestation of one's free will.

We have free will based on our past karma. So it is limited. Just like if you put an aunt into a box. That aunt has free will withing the confines of that box. Similarly we have free will within this body and within the bounds of our karmic reactions. We can not go beyond our designated karmic reactions. Read Bhagavad Gita as it is By Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada tells the science of Karma, reincarnation, and actual freedom. Thanks Anil Ji

Of course we do. Just because a crime has punishment, doesn't mean there's anything stopping you from committing that crime.....except you. That goes for EVERY decision we make. Do I stop at the gym early in the morning, or after work, or later in the evening?....EVERY decision we make almost always has an alternative choice. Your brain (usually) immediately and automatically makes the most logical choice, and only WE prevent US from making a different choice. Hence, free will.

hello anil
i think god has given us a free will to choose right or wrong since every actions has its consequences and our lives are base on the consequences of our actions which is our free will. but some times emotions puts us in a transit were we do what others WILL wants us to do. so i think we do have a free will, gods gift, but our emotions sometimes ties us to others WILL which is not so much a free will of our own.
hope i don't confuse people with so much free will & others WILL......lol

There is only God's Will. What you are calling free will is the choice to know the Will or not!

Yes there is free will. It is an absolute necessity, but the limits of other's free will provide boundaries. Free will occur rs when an um stoppable force meets an immovable object.
Ponder.
Or not.

We have been given the gift of free will within the parameters of God's sovereign choosing. The limitations of man's free will is bound in the mind of God.
One thing is sure, faith far exceeds the boundries of free will and God has assured us,that if we pray according to HIS WILL..he hears us and will honor his word,in response.

1) Yes- Choice to do what you want. But we do have to pay for the Consequences from the wrong or right choices we make.
Break the law and get caught you are judged and convicted to a punishment in hopes you learn your lesson. The law is to protect people and put an Order in our Society.
2) Without boundries and self control its destructive to yourself and others. And as we can see in the World, people do not have much of either.
If I abuse my freewill it can bind someone else.
