I would continue in prayer and ask the Lord to continue to direct me. I would be patient and wait for doors to open. College is a good thing and will help you find a better job in the future.

I have heard stories like this in church during testimony time, and the congregation goes "wow". But whenever I tell something like this from personal experience, folks in the congregation whisper to each other, and a family member says I shouldn't make stuff up to fit in.

The Bible says God speaks to us through His word. Although prayers are answered sometimes like you describe, we must remember that we can serve God wherever we find ourselves. Keep praying daily, and the Lord will lead you where you should go. And remember, you are a child of the King wherever you are - whatever your circumstance - and His people are tested through fire and tribulation.
Everyone fails at what they do the first time also. Learn from your mistakes and keep trusting the Lord for guidance. Life is a journey - learn all you can from every good source.

A lot of times the devil will come in and throw in a counterfeit answer to your prayer to make it appear to be answered quickly.
It very well may have come from God...but if you're not entirely sure....then ask God to confirm Himself to you concerning that certain thing. Ask Him to communicate certain things to you in a way that that will be clearly established to you. So there will be no misunderstandings. It's never wise to move ahead of God unless He gives the okay to do so. ( I know because I've done it sooooo many times)
So I would suggest you ask the Lord if that was from Him,
and if itt really is...He will confirm Himself. Especially if that's the particular path He wants you to take.

He Loves you! :) He's always thinkin about and looking out for your best interest.

I would say that, if you applied to this college, Karma responded with a reaction and sent a letter. It was going to happen, so, when it happened, doesn't matter.

This was hardly an act by "God" because if God really cared, he wouldn't make you sick. But thank him that you are going to school that YOU applied for.

Unless this is a random letter then welcome to a thing called spam. The university of Phoenix asks me to join them weekly

i would think that I got mail from a college cause I had applied for it or requested info. the fact that the mail was for child care and had nothing to do with you question to god proves he doesn't use the postal system to send messages.

unless of course god it telling you to go to child care.. ohhh that is so spooky and religious.

Some times God clearly points the way out for us. If we if follow God's lead or not is up to us, but I say, go for it as you have God's blessings to go to school

Dude, God is so much more structured.

Sounds like Eris, to me. Praise Discord. Follow the erratic path, should that be school, or whatever.

I totally suggest school, though.

I'd be kind a weirded out. Then I'd quit my job, drop out of school, have three illegitimate children and become president of the world.

Hey sweetie... I reckon that this is definitely a coincidence, but just be wary that it could also be an test to lead you away from what you're really meant to be doing. Honestly, if you're not sure, keep praying about it... you'll get your answer :-)
