I work in a plastic/recnstructve surgery office and the concerns that most people have regarding any surgery whether it be cosmetic or medical are:

1. Will insurance cover it?
2. Will I have alot of pain?
3. How often do I have to come back?
4. Do you have before/after photos?
5. What bra cup size will I be?
6. How much money is my responsibility?
7. What clothing size will I be?
8. Will you be able to notice the scars?
9. What can I put on the scars to make them less noticable?
10.When can I shower or go swimming?
11.What kind of brashould I wear?

Plastic surgery is of three types 1) Medical emergency and 2)Elective procedure and 3) Purely cosmetic with no medical need .
1)Burns , Injuries to face ,nose,teeth ears and eyes
2)Surgeries to correct deformities and birth defects like cleft palate,cleft lip
3)Breast enlargement surgery in women ,gynecomastia surgery in men.

main thing is how are ya going to look after.....the doc can give you a preview on computer simulaiton in office...do a complete expose and have one done on yourself,which is usaually complimentary............will be interesting to see outcome
