The medium Dianne Lazurus claimed not long after Madeleine went missing, that she would be returned to her family and that she was being looked after well, she had just had her hair cut to make her look like a boy.

Not sure about any others.

As to their innocence, i haven't heard of any so far.

I will use the observation of my own eyes and say that the mother is definitely hiding something related to the case and that her reactions at the time were not commensurate with what they are reasonably expected to be. The father appears to be covering or running interference for the mother. Past that, I cannot see.

Archy: Think about it.... A million dollars for a psychic to prove authenticity is meaningless - a psychic would be able to predict the winning lottery numbers and avoid the assassination attempts if they were publicly proven to be real. A mere $1 million would be a big detractor if there really was such thing as a psychic, and so cannot be considered a 'prize'. If you were a psychic would you settle for a mere million and never being left alone?

Nope, and if they did it would be no more of a guess thatn yours or mine. All those that claim psychic abilities are lying or are mislead themselves. If any person can prove that they really have ANY abilities, there is a $1,000,000 prize waiting for them. No one can do it. The famous "psychics" (John Edwards, Sylvia Browne, etc.) all claim that they don't need the money so they won't prove it (Sylvia Browne actually agreed to prove it while on Larry King Live, but has never actually shown any proof). But if they really had powers, why would they not just prove it, take the money and give it to charity.

The answer is people expert in body language do analyse those who might be criminals, and detectives are trained to read it. But as other answers have said it is not an exact science, and would not be accepted as evidence in a court. In the case of the McCanns their body language does not say whether or not they have harmed Madeleine. It does say that what they try to present as a close relationship between them is open to question. It does say that Gerry is the dominant partner, it does say that he is an arrogant and self-centred man. None of this is evidence though.

They are guilty of stupidity in leaving their young children alone in a hotel room while they went out to dinner. She probably got scared, left the room and I'm thinking she was hit by their car as they came back..that is where the blood came from. They panic and its anyones guess...I don't know why I'm seeing this in my head..I'm not a psychic. I shouldn't say this but I've been wanting to voice my suspician for along time even though I feel bad about it. How could someone have known that the children were alone in the room and that they would leave them there...how did they get in the room to take the little girl when there were no signs of forced entry? Who is "they"? I had a strange sense that something was wrong at the very beginning and although I feel bad about my suspicians...I cannot help them. I think they may have unintentionally killed their little girl and freaked out. Once the decision was made to just have her be missing..they dare not go back on their word...they don't want to lose their other two little babies. Still...I hope I'm wrong and that Madeliene McCann was taken by a lonely person(s) who saw her beauty and just wanted to have the child for themselves to raise...bad, yes, but not horrible. I don't think that is what happened to that precious girl. God only knows. Love in Christ, ~J~

Why do non believers in the face of despair blame psychics? We are governed by rules set out by the Spiritualist National Union; therefore we may have our own instincts about the situation, but we are not allowed to comment. Why would we, the work of a psychic is to offer hope not create fantasy and stories for the media and public (non believers) to criticise us for.
Genuine Psychics and Mediums do not need to prove themselves to you, we are here to help and offer guidance when it is needed.
I hope you get the answer you are looking for, but please do not criticise us just because you do not understand and have intolerance to those who do not follow your beliefs.

i was saying this to my bf! all those so called psychics out there who claim to predict the futur...and where are they when you need them? if they truly had the 'gift' they would be able to go to the room she was kidnapped/murdered in and have some sort of 'flashback' and be able to find out where she is and what happened!

I think if there was any such thing as a psychic they would have discovered what happened to Madeleine by now don't you?

It's "psychic". And there's no such thing.

If nothing else, they're guilty of being criminally negligent of their children, leaving them unattended in a hotel room.
