Why are Christians the target of non-believers and antagonists? I don't care what you say, I have been watching the questions here for quite a long time, and when detractors post questions using terms like "fairy tales", "magic sky fairy", "sky daddy", etc., etc., at least over 90% of them are aimed at Christians. Why is that? If you think that God is a fairy tale and religion is bad like your professor at UC Berkeley told you, then why don't you aim the same amount of these attacks at Jews, or Muslims, or Hindus? Well, I know one big reason why: Because Institutions of Higher Learning (what a joke!) have systematically attacked Christianity and indoctrinated their minds-full-of-mush students into believing this garbage.

These attacks are better proof than anything else I kinow of that Christanity is the true religion. Why else would the world attack it so hard? Well, all you haters? Can you answer why you don't aim the same amount of these attacks at Jews, or Muslims, or Hindus?

None of you answers address my central question: Why non-believers attack Christians more than other groups.

And, no, I am not insecure. I merely ask the question to demonstrate the true agenda behind your Godless attacks, which is to attack western civilization in general, and bring about its fall just like the Communists before you tries to do. Most of you are probably ant-Capitolist socialists at heart.

Oh, so only Christians try to covert you? Well, wait until the Muslims take over (which they will do because you are so weak) and THEN you will see what forced conversion REALLY is.

IOt is politically correct to attack and mock Christians, especially Catholics, but not Muslims,Jews, etc often over the same responses ,stands and issues.
I suppose we should be flattered.
Many attackers come out of a post -christian cultural situation in which blaming Christiasnity for everything is acceptable

The majority of the 'religious teachings' in school focuses on christianity. Who am I to say anything for or against a religion I know nothing about like muslim, buddist or jewish religions? But I know a heck of a lot about christianity, as it was taught in school. So, now that I have my own opinions about this particular religion, I can voice them if I choose.

Just because everyone originally believed the world was flat, doesn't mean it was. Similarly, just because everyone knows about Christianity, it doesn't make it 'true.' The very fact that there's so many religions based on essentially the same story just proves that the rituals and customs associated with each religion has nothing to do with the actual 'higher power' who may or may not have come to earth.

It is a fact that there has been a trend among the Christian Right and Moral Majority movement in the U.S. to legislate morality. This is what the Catholic Church did in the Dark Ages as Church and State were working together. Religion was forced down people's throats. Many who refused to bow down to the religious authorities were burned at the stake. This is what the Christian Right leaders in the U.S. are aiming at but they cannot do it unless they can persuade the powers that be to unite with them in order to save America. This is their agenda, to save America. They want a return of a union of church and state so they can legislate morality. In the book of Revelation this is described as "making an image to the beast" making an image to the papacy as it ruled in the Dark Ages. Any religion, be it "Christian" or Muslim, that uses the secular power to enforce her dogmas is a false religion. The book of Revelation describes any such religion as "Babylon".

There is coming a time in the U.S, and that time is not so distant in the future, when all who refuse to be "Christians" will no longer be able to buy or sell and if that decree fails to make them "Christians," a death decree will be enacted against them. All this will be done in the name of Christ! But we may know that the Scriptures do not condone any religion that uses the arm of the state to enforce morality. Wake up America!

I've never been told to believe the Jewish religion or else... I've never had Jewish people force their religion and their beliefs on me. Muslims have the same exact God as Christians so technically they are aiming the questions at Christians AND Muslims alike.

Also, most of the time Christians feel the need to judge people on whether or not they are going to hell. Or that "If you don't follow the lord, you are going to hell." I've never had that happen to me by Jewish people, and very very few Muslim people, and NEVER by a Hindu person. So I don't see why I should attack them if they haven't attacked me first.. Christians on the other hand, have always attacked me first before I question them in the same manner.

Because when they ask question here, they very often say "Christian" only, now how ignorant is that!!! It seems like they don't like it, if you don't agree with them. You can't have your own right to believe what you want to believe in. They are narrow minded. Sorry, but that's what I have noticed here a lot. This section of Y/A is the worst of all. Now you go figure, what causes all the war on this earth! It is all about religion and beliefs.

I am an atheist, and I say all religions are unreal. I have never asked any questions at all in this category, but I answer many of them. It is just that there are more Christians on YA who try to force their dumb beliefs upon us than members of other religions. I have had exchanges with Moslems and Hindus too, and they were much more polite and civilized than Christians. You people badly want to be martyrs evidently, so you distort things to make it seem that you are, but that is deceit. You also exhibit classic symptoms of paranoia, i.e. delusions of grandeur and persecution. Higher learning teaches one to be logical, hopefully, and you show that you know nothing about logic in this rant. You Christians attack us atheists, but you ignore that. Read your Bible and see what it says about bearing false witness, doing unto others (Confucius said that 550 years before Jesus did), loving your neighbor and judging not. You are too full of hate. My grandfather and my cousin are Christian pastors. They do not approve of the hate-filled stuff you utter here. many intelligent Christians agree that you disgrace any beliefs you claim to have.

Because the so called "God" of the bible is a flat out liar. First of all, let me talk about King Soloman whom the bible says that the lord imparted wisdom. Well we now know that Soloman is the one who wrote the main books on magic called the Key of Soloman as well as the lesser key. Both of these manuscripts are on file at the British Museum.-So god lied about the true nature of what he was doing. Secondly, the US is nothing more than an experiment to bring about a New World Order. Our govornment goes around the world starting new wars, and lying to people about the reason and continuing the propaganda through the bible-which tells people to take other peoples land, and spoils by force. The god of the bible is in addition to being a big fat lie, an evil, egotistical, worthless, disgusting, aweful, terrible, outright evil, menace. Mere words cannot begin to decribe his awefulness.

There's this thing called "perspective," which it seems that you are in short supply.

Christianity is the major religion here in the US.

Yahoo and most on YA are Christians.

There is a systematic process in the US today that makes Christians believe that it is their right to legislate their beliefs into law... This goes against the promise of a secular society , which this country was founded on.

All religions are based on falsehoods of some sort. Yours is nothing special.

It just happens that 90% of the religious people on this forum happen to be Christian.

I am not going to claim that shintoism is a myth, hoping that perhaps 1 Japanese Shintoist happens to stumble on YA. Why do that when there are 40-50 Christians reading the exact same answer or question.

Its just the numbers bud, Christianity isn't the martyr that you have been led to believe.

If you go onto Muslim forums, you will find that they feel that Christians and Atheists are out to get them only.
