Can you claim the tax back for using your own car for work?

I use my own car and the company provide a fuel card and pay for one service per year. What tax can I claim back?

My sales guy uses his own car and also gets a fuel card plus an monthly car allowance (pays for own servicing).

Also if we advertised the company logo and phone number on the back of our cars is there any tax reward for this?

Thanks

Yes, you can claim tax relief for using your own car for work.
You cna either claim 40p per mile travelled on business, or you can claim the actual running costs, apportioned to business miles only. Whichever you choose, you need to keep accurate records of business miles and all your running costs receipts if you are choosing the latter method.
From this claim will need to be deducted any costs met by your employer, ie the service and fuel paid through the card.
The display of your company logo has no tax implications.

or maybe Simon C hasn't given an entire suitable answer! As a self-employed guy or woman you are able to, in case you like, declare the comparable fastened-fee mileage allowance as an worker can, that's 40p according to mile (for the 1st 10,000 miles, and 25p for each added mile, nonetheless from what you're saying those limits is purely no longer proper to you). that's lots much less attempt than preserving music of all actual costs and apportioning them, and is truly a beneficiant fee for a clean automobile which, optimistically, won't have lots if something pass incorrect with it.
