I have said for several years that I expected Putin to refuse to step down when his term is up...now with this latest move I completely expect him to militarily take control and claim dictatorship of Russia. I never have and never will trust the guy.

The guy has ALWAYS struck me as a stone cold killer capable of anything to maintain his personal agenda.

Thoughts?

Zen, thank you for sharing your egocentric response. If you reread the question it is based on 24 months prior suspicions, not just the dissolution of the Russian govn. Nonetheless, I appreciate your deprecating humor...or complete lack thereof.

Has anyone ever reported seeing an emotion on Putins face? lol

Putin is a Soviet and it's been said he was among the group who were out to ice ol' Yeltsin.

The man is KGB through and through and wishes to be recorded in history as the one who resurrected Communist Russia.

People in Russia have been trying to tell the world about Vladamir but it seems no one would listen--even after freezing out the Ukraine two winters ago

Your thoughts about Putin are right on. Too bad Bush wanted to play nice with him.

Taken by itself, this is not such an unusual act, but Putin has been doing some other activities that indicate he is trying to make some major changes in their government. So it depends on what Putin does from here. He could be laying the groundwork for either not stepping down next year or putting a puppet to act for him.

I always thought the dissolution of a gov't was the beginning of the people in charge to take total control.....he IS ex KGB, well, perhaps not ex really.

What is the purpose of dissolution of gov't?

as for seeing emotion on his face, I don't remember, but I have seen pictures on yahoo that show him with his shirt off. lol

Haha... Your American naivete is simply embarrassing. Why don't you learn something about politics before you make a complete fool of yourself before the entire world? A dissolution of government is a very common procedure which is used to call an early election.
