We can help the Illegal immigrants (the real term for 'UNDOCUMENTED') by reporting the to the INS and having them sent back to their country and showing them how to apply for US Citizenship LEGALLY.
And just what is it that you hope to learn form them? How to start a gang?
How to setal?
how to enter a country and suck the system dry illegally?
How to mooch off a government?
How to live in a garage?
tell me what you want to learn from these people?

OK, lets dissect your statement:
"The states are failing to educate these immigrants and many are dropping out of school. "
Since when is it the responsibility of the states to educate illegal immigrants? It is not! It is the responsibility of the states to educate citizens and LEGAL immigrants! That is one of the reason why we have controls in place on immigration, so that we can be sure the infrastructure is place to take care of our people and legal immigrants as far as education, medical, social services, etc. There is only so much of each to go around. Add millions upon millions of illegal immigrants to the system that were unplanned has placed such a huge strain on these systems to the point many of them are near collapse or have already collapsed!
"As a People, apart from the government, how can we help integrate the undocumented immigrants in to our collective society?"
As a people, we should NOT be integrating illegal criminals into our society! Why should we condone criminal acts that allow people that decide to circumvent the system put into place, thus causing delays in the people that try to enter the country LEGALLY! Think of all of the millions of legal immigrants that could be allowed into the country if the tens of millions of illegal immigrants were not here! Instead, we allow people that disrespect our laws stay. They disrespect our laws the second they set foot on US soil illegally.
"We have a lot to learn from undocumented immigrants and they will be a great boon to our collective society."
Yes, we can learn from them that crime pays, that you do not need to follow the rules if they do not suit you, and that Americans are suckers that won't make them follow the laws.

You should be sure of their good intentions, I know people that is here legally and has been here 20 years and still do not speak english.
I guess that is the first reason to say bye bye to that green cardholder.
You have the kids at school but what about their parents? are they working hard and living the american way of life ir just keep eating tacos and saying hell with the gringos?
Is a hard question, I will do a background check, here or in there homecountry if there is something go back if you can show you are a decent person, paid taxes speak english and are willing to contribute to the society I will give you the chance for 2 years check with the federals and other 2 years and we will see.

I think you may give them, generally speaking too much credit. A lot of them are uneducated and undereducated and they do not speak the language. Education costs a lot of money. Can we afford it? What are we giving up? There are always trade offs. I have been in cars that have been rearended by illegals. They were belligerent and on another planet or so it seemed. They didn't ask if we were ok and they blamed us. We stopped at an intersection and the driver banged into us. How is that wrong? We stopped for a family of ducks that other drivers also stopped for. Again, how is that wrong? A lot of these illegals do not share our values and beliefs about life and the treatment of others. It doesn't do us any good to shun them or to make ridiculous statements that just fuel more hatred and no solutions. The number one thing we can do is to learn their language so we can communicate with them. That is the best thing. But it is not without possible future consequences that could be negative. It is something to discuss and consider with an open heart and mind. By open heart and mind, we have to take emotion out and focus on reason and what is realistic.

What do we have to learn from uneducated people?
The US have lot of uneducated people? I can tell you I have learned "nothing" from them.
Integrate illegals into our collective society. Are collecting them and selling them on eBay?
What about the fact they are here illegally they are law breakers, they use false stolen ss numbers, they receive benefits they are not legally in titled to adding a burden to our all ready stressed out welfare system, health care, schools etc.
As a collective US society we have more then our share of people in need and US criminals so we need no more. We have our quote for the next 100 yrs.
You say :A part from the government you want Americans to support them. Americans have there own family and responsibilities supporting themselves.
Also, we didn't ask them to come here. They are free to go back to their home country. But if you and your little friends want to adopt all of them "go for it".
Idealism is wonderful but when reality kick you in butt and you have to come into the real tax paying working world you not going to like the outcome.

Our work is cut out for us. We have to first convince congress that we are dead serious about deporting ALL illegals. Next we have to urge them to pass laws that put the owners or CEO's of companies who employ illegals in prison. I suggest five years for each illegal with no chance of parole or early release. Put the head of the HR department in prison as well. Heads of hospitals are next and go to prison if they admit or treat an illegal. Head of School Boards go to if they allow an illegal to attend school. Of course include all landlords and rental companies. Banks too! Offer a $500 reward for turning those aiding illegals in to authorities.
Second set up toll booths on the southern border and charge anyone without legal status $1000 to LEAVE the US. My plan costs Americans NOTHING and does the job quickly with only a few people going to prison because once others realize we are serious they will not aid the criminals anymore fearing prison time.

No, I don't think we need to educated in criminology and gang life. Get them a bus ticket back to wherever they came from. I don't see why we should have to clean up the mess the government and big business made.

Empower them to have the courage to return home and improve their OWN country. After all, they have the same natural resources as the United States.
They need a leader who does more than just export his countrys poverty.
