Disgusting. I'm sorry that happened. I know I would have a feeling of being somewhat violated. Lingerie is personal.
Years ago this happened when I was in college. A lot of us noticed our underwear was missing. Being college kids, this was rough because we didn't have a lot of money and certainly didn't need to be spending what we had on new underwear.

Not to me, but a friend had 3 entire loads stolen from an apartment laundromat. NEVER leave your clothes! People have no sense of right and wrong anymore.

There are a lot of sick puppies in this world now days. What is happening to people? When I was young (I'm 48) we left our doors unlocked at night, didn't have school shootings, terrorism or people stealing our underwear! You should have asked anyone around you if they saw anyone else rummaging through your things while you were gone. Never leave your clothes from now on!

This has never happened to me, but my friend had an entire dryer of clothes stolen. Did you tell the laundry mat attendant? They might have cameras, it's worth a try.

No, this has never happened to me but I know it has happened to others. You should NEVER, EVER leave your items unattended at the laundromat for this exact reason. I know it's boring just sitting in there but atleast you'll be able to keep an eye on your stuff.

This hasn't happened to me that I know of... But I agree this is very creepy! No telling who would do something like that, maybe some perv. or maybe even some woman who can't afford things like that. Either way.. that sucks! Never leave your laundry unattended!!!

That may be one reason many people stay at the laundrymat during the washing and drying process. Inform management.
