I am asking this question here because in R&S all you get is stupid nasty comments about Islam and Muslims.
So tell me please....if a person is feeling restless, impatient and has intense feelings because they miss someone who is far away, is it true that the other person can "feel" this? It's kinda hard to describe but can the other person have a feeling that someone is thinking of them? Someone once told me that the other person's soul can "feel" it when someone has intense feelings. Is this true?

Dear,
Assalamu'alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.
Soul belongs to Al-Mighty ALLAH Subhanahu Wata'ala.
There's no doubt about it. prophet and messenger of God ALLAH SWT, Muhammad, Rasullullah s.a..w, did said, soul belongs to ALLAH. It's not known to any Human Being.
Therefore, that someone told you that other person's soul can 'feel' it when someone has instinct feeling is "NOT TRUE"
I hope this might clear your mind.
Wabillahitaufiq Walhidayah Wassalamu'alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.

I do think that you can feel it when someone has intense feelings for you no matter how far apart they may be. I have a similar situation currently. I am away from a very dear loved one. I have not heard from him in about two months. Initially, I was very sad, and had a difficult time even performing daily duties. However, one day I suddenly woke up and although I miss his presence I was able to do the things I needed to. It was almost as if Allah is telling me that he is okay. It's a strange phenomenon, but no matter where he is I know he is okay. I pray I will see him again one day.

well i m a Muslim
i do not think your question is a question only Muslims can answer .i think any one would answer
according to personal experience i think your sayings are right, may be no logic not rational call it telepathy or what ever but its true
i had a very sincere friend ,we had a life together, then we find ourselves each one living in a different place where we can not get in touch, neither letters or by phone ,
years passed till i had dreamed of him
he came to Jerusalem were he was originally from ,i saw him visited him and we planned to do more in Jerusalem ,but he never came to pick me up,i was mad at him, looked all over in the places that we used to go (in the dream),but he does not turn up
two years later i heard that he died .
almost at the same time of dream

Asalam Alaikum
Allah knows for sure. But I was in Egypt and my husband was in the USA working. We were separated for long periods of times. Sometimes I would be in a good mood and all of a sudden get really sad. I wonder if my husband was feeling sad and missing us at that moment. Allah knows.

hi, am not muslim but my boyfriend is and i must say that its true that the other person sometimes misses or thinks about you at the same time you are thinking of them. believe it or not, this usually happens to me most of the time. especially if that person is close and dear to you. sometimes try calling and ask and find out! its amazing and a great feeling as well. i feel you! keep your faith.............

according to the Hadith above, I assume what you believe is true, and you can obviously notice this between any mother-and-child relationship, it also happens with me so often.
