I'm 16 years old. I don't really believe in god, though sometimes i wish i could. Over the years I have said bad stuff about god.. but when i said it im not sure i meant it...and i do regret it. I feel like I'm going to hell anyway...so why should i try to fix it? I've said hateful stuff about him... and not even tried to imagine there being a god..because i figured it was better that way..then to have to live with knowing i was going to hell

Sweety, the answer is quite simple really, Just ask God to forgive you.It sounds like God is tugging at your heart strings. Ask Jesus to come into your heart and accept him as your savior. Start attending a good Bible believing church and fellowship with outer believers. Bible study is essential. God truly does love you and your life can be so full and happy. There are many good teen groups in most Churches. Best of luck. & may God bless you!

I didn't always believe in God, but after years of searching and praying, I finally found Him and He has turned my life around! Keep on searching for God because it is never too late. If you have a feeling of regret for what you said, then I think that deep down, you didn't mean it. Even if you did, it's ok, because we have a God forgiveness and he will forgive all who repent. If you believe in God, you do not have to worry about going to hell. Faith is all you need to have eternal life. I recommend the books: The Case for a Creator, The Case for Christ, and The Case for Faith By Lee Strobel. I hope this helps you!

No one can tell you if you are or arent going to hell. The fact that you feel bad is a sign that God has not given up on you because that is a conviction of the Holy Spirit. The message of the Bible is one of love and understanding. You CAN have forgiveness through the blood of Jesus Christ. Anyone can it doesnt matter how low, God can reach them. God loves you. Nothing you can do or say can change His love. Your fate is in your hands, you have been given the Good News of Salvation. Read the bible, talk to a religious leader you respect in your community (Might even be your parent), and make the changes you know you need to make in your life. The choice is yours.

1 John chapter 1 verse 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

It doesn't say sometimes or if you said this or if you said that so God will forgive no matter what. Key point being that you realize you are a sinner, ok? So if you understand that than confess your sins, ask God to forgive you of all your sins and ask Jesus Christ to come into you heart, and save me. Now all you need to do is get into church, of course I prefer a baptist church if you go you would see why. But if there isn't one find a non-denominational church, one that preaches the bible and nothing else. Also that they preach salvation because that is the only way to heaven, and not all churches preach salvation. John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Hi Michelle...

You sound like you're lost in life... At your age, it is very common. You are regretting saying bad things about GOD? Dont worry, HE forgives you. You do not truly know GOD yet. You were saying things about something you did not know or understand. Get to know who HE is, and what Jesus did for you. No one says you are going to Hell. Only God can judge you on that. So, don't worry too much. You said that you wish you could believe... If that's true, find out more about Jesus... Talk to knowledgeable people about Jesus. Asking questions here will do you more harm than good. Many people on here are very narrow-minded. You have to open and expand your mind in order to understand and experience GOD. Good luck... and God bless.

Michelle,

We're *all* sinners...every last one of us. And we've all done and said hateful things. Saying that, none of us are worthy of heaven. That said, God knows this. This is why He sent Jesus, to save us.

You see, when we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, our sins are forgiven. I don't care what you've done or what you've said, once saved, if you accept Christ, then you can be *sure* that you'll spend eternity with Him.

Please read, in this order, these 3 books from the New Testament:

1) The Gospel of John - it will tell you about Jesus

2) Acts, right after John - will tell you about the early church

3) Romans - right after Acts - will explain how we're all sinners and about salvation through Jesus.

I pray that you *will* read these books and pray. You don't need to go to hell. You can spend eternity in heaven, but it's your choice.

Do you know where you'll spend eternity?

Read Romans.

In Christ,

Dennis

There is no place of eternal torture, hot fiery place. That has been made up by man, it's not Biblical. The Bible plainly states that when you die you know nothing, your thoughts are gone. (Psalm 146:4; Gensis 3:19) Religions teach that your soul goes to another place after you die, but the Bible teaches that your soul dies when you die. (Ezekiel 18:4)
But you need to think about God some more. There is an almighty God, rather you believe in him or not, he is real. And if you are not on his side then you are on Satan's side. There is no middle ground.

The Lord Jesus wants a relationship with you. He did not die for the righteous , but for the sinners. People's greatest misconception is that we can't have forgiveness which is false . The Lord realizes you didn't mean what you said, but even if you did , He is just waiting for you to turn your heart and receive Him.. When Jesus came He dinned with the sinners, The Religionist of that day thought that Jesus was wrong going into sinners house. But He went. He wants to come into your house/ heart too. Just ask Him. VERY EASY.

If you don't believe in God, then why were you saying bad stuff to him. Obviously you do believe in God and you are worried about going to hell. Just pray to him that you will find your way. It won't hurt, but it will definitely make you feel better.
