My money is also on the #38. I have heard that RYR has given them permission to use it next year.
Its actually a good number for him. It combines his dad's #3 and his #8.
It's good to see that Robert Yates has stepped up to the plate and has allowed him to use it. I'm not a Jr. fan but I think DEI is giveing him a royal screwing by not letting him use the #8.

i wanna see him drive either the 38 or 81 those would be 2 great numbers for him...but i guess RYR won't let go of the 38 so i hope the 81

Nascar should give him the # that equals his championships won, wins this season & pole postions this year & that would be 0. There is much more in NASCAR going on than to hear what # Jr will be driving for, like it really matter because he couldn't win the #8 car & the Jr Nation keeps talking about how such a great driver he is. How has he proven himself as a great driver? What has he done this year? When you have more engine blowns & DNF's than wins, how is that being a great driver? He doesn't deserve to be in the chase. Personally I think HMS should have kept Kyle Busch instead of signing Jr.

it's either going to be 38 or 81. i think they worked out a deal with robert yates racing to get the #38, but they're just keeping it a secret so they can make a big announcment

Rumor is that the 38 was only a rumor. Last report said two more weeks.
Maybe they will decide to show it off at Homestead. ;-)
