If Yes, why is it omitted from the bible? If Not why are there so many similarities between this book and revelations?

Throughout the centuries. Even the Dark Ages, God sat on the Throne dear. He, in His infinite power was able to preserve the Bible. When there arose the opportunity for this bible to be put together, God did not sit idly by and just give satan access to what is put in our out of the Holy Bible. As believers we need to truly realize this fact. God sits on His throne and His word to us is precious to Him and He has been able to preserve it for us. The book of Enoch under God's soverignity has NOT been included in the writings of the Bible, because this God who is enthroned did not allow it. He did not allow it then.. He will not allow it now. We have to learn to trust His unseen hand. This is His divine revelation to us and even though satan has tried and tried to contaminate the Bible and add or delete parts we should say " Praise the Lord... His Word to us is eternal and He is God and was able to preserve it for us to have a way to go on and to know Him Personally through His Words of Life"

Satan is defeated and he knows it too.

May we be those faithful to Keep His word.

Scholars guesstimate that the book of Enoch was written around the 2nd century BC. While it does have many similarities to teachings found in the Bible and is even quoted by Jude it's hard to account for how a book could have come to earth from a man whom the Bible says was taken away by God before the flood of Noah's days.

The e book of Enoch isn't a canonical e book of the Bible, yet an apocryphal writing. regardless of the undeniable fact that this is okay to envision it see you later as you convey it to recommendations's no longer meant as a source of sound Christian coaching.

You mean as authentic as all the other books? LOL! None of them are "authentic". I do like to read the books that weren't included though. It's a shame they didn't include all of them - maybe the buybull would make more sense???

No.
The New Testament is the MOST scrutinized literature over the last 2000 years, and if scholars thought it was, it would be in the New Testament.

I think it wasn't included because it couldn't be traced back to actually being written by Enoch - something like that. It's authenticity couldn't be proven.

As of yet, I doubt that any book in the bible can be classified as authentic.

No....

This is why it's not in the closed canon of Scripture.
It has been deemed non God-breathed

What we have in Scripture today is a direct result of the sovereignty of God......not Constantine. He (God) is the Author & finisher of our faith.
