An Ashkenazi Jew who travelled from eastern Europe to the holy land?

I heard Jesus was a Galilean, not a Jew and it was a group of Zionist Jews who created this lie to manipulate Christians. Is there any truth to that claim?

East European Ashkenazi Jews did not even exist yet during the period of the Roman occupation of The Holy Land (i.e., "the time of Jesus," as you call it). And the Galilee is an area of northern Israel, so being a Galilean and being a Jew are not two mutually exclusive things. That's kind of like saying "Theodore H was an Ohioan and not an American!"

Ironic asking if there is any truth to a claim about a person who has not been proved to have existed. Most likely Jesus did exist, but the writings and stories that we have are highly suspect in terms of authenticity and validity.
