Jesus plainly said that ALL LIES ARE OF THE DEVIL (John *:44). There can be NO TOLERANCE for LYING in the family of God. Whosoever LIES cannot be a Child of God (Prov. 26:24-28; 1st John 3:4-15).

If it can be proven that Jesus deliberately LIED about ANYTHING, for ANY "REASON," perception of his person and mission to Earth by as much as one-third of Mankind (Protestants and Catholics together) who have been taught and insist Jesus NEVER told ANY lie must even radically change.

If Jesus lied about anything, he must be a Child of The Devil, just like the rest of Humanity. Furthermore, he must surely have known that he was not qualified to be called "The Son of God."
(NB. The story of the Virgin Birth of Jesus is not reliable, since it became part of Christian Doctrine only much later, and was NEVER TAUGHT BY JESUS that we know of. Even if he was truly born of a virgin, there is no proof that a Divine Agency was responsible. Which would explain lots of things!)

To restate it slightly for the purpose of clarification, at John 8:44, Jesus said the following to the scribes and Pharisees: "You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies." Pointedly, Christ did not here say that all lies are of the Devil.

Moreover, it cannot be said that one who tells a lie is a child of Satan and not a child of God. Peter, who denied Christ three times, plainly told a lie, did he not? While it was a bad thing to do, he is certainly never censured by Jesus for being a child of the devil.

It is true that the virgin birth was never taught by Jesus. Why would it be? It was recorded in the synoptics by the gospel writers.

Great Gazoo-
Try reading those scriptures in context. Read the whole passage not just one line and see that some of those verses weren't even speaking of Jesus. I believe your last example (Matthew 23:36) was referencing the fall of the Pharisees. Make sure you understand what you're saying before unleashing your propaganda on the masses.

As to the question posed, NO Jesus never told a lie. He was God in the flesh, he would not/could not lie.

Jesus Christ never sinned, and as far as proving that He lied or anything, well you can't prove what didn't happen. Why do you persecute Jesus? Are you hoping He did so that you are off the hook? Well, blasphemy certainly won't help. The virgin birth is true and the proof of it being Divine is in the book of Isaiah. Because you don't accept what has been documented and accepted as true doesn't mean it isn't. This would explain alot about your views.

How can anyone ever imagined that Jesus told a lie. He Himself said that the Devil is the father of lies and since the Bible say that He was without sin and telling a lie is sin, then He never told a lie. He is definitely above that.

No, I don't think that Jesus ever lied - however I don't believe that lying would automatically make someone "the child of the devil". There's got to be some motive behind it.

The Lord Jesus Christ grew to become into devoid of sin. We regardless of the undeniable fact that are crammed with sins through fact the bible says 10 because it truly is written, there is none righteous, no, no longer one: 11 there is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. 12 they are all long gone out of how, they are at the same time improve into unprofitable; there is none that doeth sturdy, no, no longer one. 13 Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is decrease than their lips: Romans 3:10-13 (KJV)

correct mate.

I don't know the verse number (i'm sure some Christians will be able to tell you), but Jesus definitely says on more thatn one occaison that if you pray for something you will recieve.

Yet this does not happen.

Therefore Jesus said something which is NOT TRUE. Which is, by definition, a lie.

EDIT : could the people who gave the thumbs down explain how I am wrong? Jesus clearly states in the Bible that if you pray for something you will recieve it. Yet this does not happen. Please explain the thumbs down. I presume you can't.
