I want to put an air horn on my ford Explorer. How would i go about doing this? I want to have a seperate button on the dash board to operate the air horn. i want to keep my original horn too. Where do i get an air horn at? I want to mount it under my front bumbper. Is this a good place to put it? Please let me know anything you know about air horns. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

You can get an air horn off of ebay, im looking at the train ones myself, you mount the air compressor under the hood and the horns as well..... or if you get the trumpet horns you can mount them on top of the SUV.... you can hook them up to the regular horn button or get another button and mount it under the dash or on the dash where you have an empty spot.

. IF YOU WANT A REAL LOUD HORN YOU WILL NEED AIR. THIS MEANS A PUMP / TANK / AND SWITCH SO YOU CAN KEEP YOUR OLD HORN AS YOU WANT .

Click below.

I'd put it under the hood, if you have room. It's less exposed to the weather, and would probably last longer. The electric one would probably be simpler - no compressor to worry about.
