I have always had an idea in my head of the way i would love to be proposed to, and my dream wedding! Whats yours??

Not sure if this helps but here's the way I proposed. It was on Christmas evening at her dad's house. Him and I set up lights on the roof to spell out "Marry Me" that afternoon. That night her sister went out back and was throwing rocks on the roof to make 'reindeer clatter noises' (she has 3 very younger siblings so it helped out alot) anyways. Everyone was in on it and acted all excited at the sounds and rushed everyone outside so the younger kids could see santa. Then her youngest brother (5 yr old) came out with the cookie plate to give to santa, and on it was the ring, when he got close her sister hit the lights and it lit up the marry me on the roof then I got on one knee, took the ring, and well you know the rest of the story

I wanted a very pratical proposal nothing 'romantic' or a surprise. I believe that marriage is a big decision that my partner and I should make together and to have a suprise proposal is wrong. It starts a marriage off without open communication. Some men think about the proposal even a year in advanced meanwhile not bringing up these thoughts in order not to ruin the 'romance' of it. This leaves women in the position of awe over the proposal and prospects of marriage and may limit thought about the fact that marriage is not romance.
Well, my proposal wasn't a proposal at all. I brought up marriage to my partner, actually while on the way to do some grocery shopping and while going and shopping and we discussed it as honest equals and decided that getting married was a good idea for us. We then proceeded to tell everyone that we had plans to get married. No frills, no ring just good communication and promises to each other.
I wanted the same kind of wedding as in either not getting legally married at all or just going down to the city court house, but because a wedding is not a private ritual, but a public family event held for the family to celebrate the love of the couple, this is not the right thing to do. It's not my day or our day it is their day in our honor! My fiance has convinced me to have a big wedding, so that's what we're doing! Besides, since we're not paying for the event ourselves, it will be profitable! There are gifts!

Dream proposal would take me completely by surprise. Just a normal day, and suddenly he asks.
Ideal wedding would be just close friends and family, somewhere like a nice rose garden at sunrise.

Had the proposal which was perfect for us, just the two of us in private. Had the wedding we both wanted, a very traditional ceremony and reception, at which we hosted 200 guests.

i want my proposal to come at a surprise. but he rubs my feet a lot and i thing it would be cute to slip a ring on my toe when i was not paying attention. I do know i don't want the the big go out to dinner thing, just a casual just like any other night.

My friend is getting proposed in Dubai in the desert there is a thing that you can have a meal for two in the middle of the desert only the two of you with waiters and waitresses in the evening so romantic i think i would like that!!!

yes, i had an idea and now i m happy with my dream girl by the grace of God. yes, one should have dreams and mind set but it should be practical and u have the ability to analize urself that are u able to get ur dreams fulfilled.
