Long story short I used to weigh 12st I have now got down to 9st7 but when i put all the weight on I managed to get stretch marks on my stomach not many but enough to make me paranoid, how long will it take if i use Bio-Oil 3 times a day as directed for them to look better??

I would say it normally takes about 2-3 weeks for the mark to start to soften a bit, i used it on a scar and it worked out quite well. But i would continue to use it for a couple of months. Also a good tip after you have had a shower splash some baby lotion on wet skin that will help a bit as well. My friend used it all the way through and after she had her baby and she didn't have very bad stretch marks at all.

I think it takes a while and you have to be really strict with it. I had an operation on my knee last year and the scar makes me feel uncomfortable wearing a skirt so I bought some bio-oil but I'm absolutely useless at using it every day (never mind three times a day!!).
I've heard from others that it does work though, so if you are more disciplined than me I would stick to it. Hope it works for you :o)

Try using vitamin e oil as well, that is good for stretch marks, although I have no idea how long it will take to work - sorry!

I used it 3 times a day AND put some in my bath but it never did work for me. I was using it for about a month and a half and no results. To lots of other people it starts to work within 2 weeks but about 2 months befre your scars really start to fade. My strach marks were really light but it did absolutly nothing for me.

Well done on losing the weight. Bio oil didnt work for me. why not try the tanning baby lotion that covers them and gives your skin a nice tan.

my daughter started to see the results after about 10 days , after 4 weeks the results were amazing on her stretch marks due to having my grandson.
