My darling Mummy was an Australian and, although I was not born there, I lived there a few years myself.
Now I'm living in South Africa, my place of birth but would like to apply for Australian citizenship with the view to moving there forever and ever amen.
I'm completely estranged from my mother though and haven't seen hide nor hair of her in almost 22 years so getting information from her is not an option.
Could anyone tell me how I'd go about the process nonetheless? All help will be most appreciated!
THANK YOU!!

I think you should be able to get 'Citizenship By Descent' as your mum was an Australian. (was she born here though, or become a citizen herself?)
Do you have or anyway of getting a hold of her birth certificate?
