Does anyone know way of stopping your mattress squeaking? Its ruining my lovelife as my flat mate can hear everything - PLEASE HELP

It is the bed frame, not the mattress.

Spray the joints in the bed frame with spray -on cooking stuff. Alternately get a candle or some beeswax and take the frame to bits. Rub the candle over the joint surfaces and re-assemble. Soap may also work - dry soap. Make sure the bolts and nuts are tight.

If this does not work put the mattress on the floor.

what style of guarantee does the mattress have? I actual have taken my ikea mattress back as quickly as for the comparable ingredient. between the pocket coils slipped out of the textile pouch and grew to become into working against certainly one of the different springs. Ikea took it back no concern! 25 twelve months guarantee! Beds might desire to be waiting to "take a pounding" without squeaking! Lol

Try flipping it over. The mattress might just be in a bad position, mine was sqeaking then i flipped it, no more squeaking!

is it the mattress or the bed !if the bed try tightening and oiling the bolts if the mattress get a new one

I really dont think you can do anything about a squeaky mattress. You might need to purchase another one.

it's not your mattress that is squeaking, its the bed frame, just change the bed frame, don't use any bed frame that is from metal or wood.

Best of all, do not use any bed frame at all...

once it breaks...it wont squeak anymore...keep doing what your doing until it falls apart....lol
