Kashi cereal is great. It's yummy and all natural. I have it with soy milk. I don't do yogurt (also, it's loaded with sugar, and I wouldn't be surprised if it's added). If you're referring to the Quaker Chewy bars, I also don't eat those. The Quaker snack products contian corn syrup, and/or high fructose corn syrup and partially hydrogenated oils. I get my bars from Trader Joe's, a chain of natural food stores with cheap prices. Their bars are, as I said, all natural, and only a couple of dollars for the box.

For me, I would have had the cereal and later in the morning, some fruit. I buy the bars as a portable snack for when I think am going to be out for awhile and will want something. (I'm nine months pregnant so I don't like to go without food, which is something I've done my entire pregnancy.)

I hope this helps.

OK, basic science here.....

to lose weight all you have to do is expend more energy than you ingest...so, burn more calories through excersise & daily activity than you eat.

If you eat 1200 calories during the day you have to burn OVER 1200 calories in order to lose weight.
