(The way most USA residents would answer)

OTA (over the air) in the US are:

Major networks like: ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, CW

PBS

Independent Stations like religious broadcasters & colleges

If you go to http://www.titantv.com , enter a US zip code (45406 for example), and ask for broadcast channels; you can look at a list of networks and programming

The term "Free TO Air" is in some setting refers to free satellite TV programming. Such programming can be received in the US, but it's not widely used. The last links below are pages with info on this form of TV broadcasting.

My questions to you Daffy is this: Does watching the game change what the final score will be? Does a game that is live on cable, contain anything better than a game that is delayed? Does anything change if a game isn't telecast live? Yes you may be able to watch 3 live games, but how many games are there per week? Why can't you watch the others live? If you're that dedicated to being able to watch the games live, then why don't you take the screen and front frame off your tv, and go to every game and watch it through your very own tv screen? I'll tell you why you can't. (an i'm sure others could as well) It's because they are played in all different areas aswell as some of them being played at the same time. I'm not a pensioner but I'm someone that has no need for cable. I don't spend all my waking hours and spare time infront of a TV. There are some things in life more important than TV. If you have nothing better than to watch TV all the time and complain that there are some some sports that are delayed telecasts (even though the score doesnt change if it's live) then you need to really consider where your life is going. Last thing i'd like to add, THE OLYMPICS!!!! They are sports and alot of them were LIVE but it wasn't possible to have them all on because of the overlapping events!!!!
