What are the requirements for "beauty"?
Does this include those who's personality is ugly?
What appeal process if one is falsely accused of being 'ugly' for malicious reasons?
Are the selfish rich considered beautiful or Ugly?

Gosh I hope that was a "joke" question. Thinking that it might be I will give you my "joke answer".
No but I will now walk to the door of society and cast myself from it. No don't look at me. I am far to hideous. I will put a bag over my head and build a hut by a stream. Just throw me out table scraps and I will survive in my own little homely world. LOL

nomoreso than they already are.
attractive people already do the best in society... just look at who gets the most attention... attractive guys and girls. I don't think we need to make it worse on those society deems as ugly people by going out of our way to exclude them.
also, looks are subjective & lots of people can look pretty good given a liberal application of makeup :)

I think people with ugly attitudes should be shunned wherever possible.
Also - I think the people that are assuming that the asker believes his or her own hypothesis may be wrong. A lot of people use this forum in order to provoke debate.
I may be wrong, but I feel the asker probably believes that ugliness is within.

Its funny that some people get their feathers ruffled with questions like this!!!!
You really want to talk about ugly people being discriminated against in our culture.
It will happen at a subtle level whether anyone makes a law against it or not.
Of course, ugly people usually have redeeming character traits to consider... kinda like people with poor eyesight are often smart--- They developed other survival skills.

Yes, but remember beauty is in the eye of the beholder. And many that believe they are beautiful will be among the excluded.

I think we should caste ourselves. Ugly people and ugly people, idiots and idiots, intelligent people and intelligent people.. all of that. In a perfect world, a gorgeous person would never meet an ugly one, and a smart person would never meet an idiot.

Lets have a society where all women look like Paris Hilton and all the men look like Brad Pitt.
(like I don't know why but that kind of society sounds a bit boring to me. Totally non-hot.)

Are you for real? Where would it start?? The outside is just temporary, but your heart is full of love...and will be until death and beyond. So who would be the one to decide?? If you are really believing this, You are way out of line...You are not the judge....& jury ...
