Arius was a heretic and false teacher and deserved to be found in anathema along with His followers. If Arius had won the Church would have indeed fallen into apostasy against the promise of Jesus that this would never happen. What happened to Arius is proof of the leadership of the Holy Spirit of the Church and why the Church will indeed endure for all time.

Why worry about something that happened in 311?He was excommunicated for supporting Meletius.Whats the problem,he made his choice.
