Too many people claim that "proof" for evolution must be taken on faith alone.

Would these people assume that a forensics report must be taken on faith alone? Would they ignore the evidence given by the experts and just accept that the result was correct?

For example, if they were told that a hair belonged to a particular person would they just accept that on faith or would the fact that the forensics expert had studied it and deduced, based on the evidence, that it came from said particular person, have any relevance to their acceptance of the information?

Delores I don't think you got it. The question was would you accept it on pure faith or would you accept it based on the fact that the expert knew what they were doing?

Forensics is a pretty exacting science. With forensics you don't accept anything on faith, you must have the science to support your conclusion. Now, let me say, that the forensics examiners would have to have "faith" in their procedures to know that they were correct, but I don't believe that was the kind of faith you meant.

Forensic science is fascinating and outright COOL. Yes, I would have faith in a forensic report.

EDIT: I don't see the difference between having faith in a forensic report vs. believing it due to the fact that it's scientific. When I say "faith" I don't mean faith, hallelujah! Lol, I only use that word in jest, never seriously. I would believe a forensic report because it's scientific. Now, since I'm not a scientist and am not able to test the results for accuracy, I would have faith in the credibility of the report anyway. The forensic scientists went to school for a long time in order to do what they do. They know what they're doing.
