I'm in stage four of my cancer. I suppose I will eventually die from it, but I don't know when. Some people will live longer than others. I grieve that I probably won't live as long as I thought I was going to live, but I am trying to live the life I have. I think that if you are having negative symptoms it makes you more aware of the possibility of a limited life. In between symptoms and thoughts about all this, I live my life as normally as possible.

You'd be better off discussing this with a doctor but there are many reputable cancer related websites that may be of some use to you. Try WebMD or do a web search for the specific type of cancer you are writing about. There are many different kinds of cancers so your best bet is to ask a doctor or do some web research.

Anything is possible. I had a friend a while back and her father had a late stage of skin cancer. They gave him 6 months to live. That happened over ten years ago and now he's about 75 years old and doing well!

In my experience WEBMD is not worth a damn! I sought advice from them and they said don't worry about what you have teenagers get it all the time (I had explained that I had a lump that grew from the size of a pebble to 5x that size and that I was 41 and cancer ran the three minute mile in my family. Their response was that I need not get it checked out and that breast growth normally happens in teenagers and I shouldn't worry about it).
I was in 3.5 if not 4 when I was finally diagnosed nearly 4 years after that and after 23 months of being diagnosed I'm still here. So I say anything is possible!!

It is possible - I am one such person, surviving 18 years into remission.

miracles happen.
don't believe people, NOT even doctors know how long they have to live.. there's been people that are in their death beds, then all of a sudden they are in remission, cancer is gone.
all you can do, is pray and keep your faith.
