fresh good quality vegetables, i.e. the ones most people don't like, brussell sprouts, brocholi, spinich, cabbage. basically you can't go wrong if you stick to lots of vegs as well as your meats, poultry fish etc, the secret is to keep it well balanced and you won't have any problems,

the main items to stay away from are sugars, salt, anything artificial including processed meats and animal fats, the vegetable and fish fats are the good ones

good luck

Believe it your not, your digestive system (your guts) make up the majority of your immune system. This is based on a recent clinical study.

Foods that help with digestive system health contain good bacteria culture (like in yogurt). You can also take food supplements like from Nutrilite, the #1 global brand of vitamins and food supplements. Try Intestiflora 7, which has 7 types of good bacteria in it; just take it with water or anything cold/lukewarm.

Echinacea has been shown to boost your immune system. It's an herb found in supplements such as in Nutrilite's Triple Guard Echinacea--in spray, liquid drops, or tablet form.

Antioxidants-vitamins A, C, and E in fruits and vegetables are also important in supporting your immune system.

Take a free Personalized Health Assessment. It'll tell you what foods to eat, what supplements you need to take, if any, and any other lifestyle tips to improve your health.

Not too sure of the foods, but a daily intake of zinc and vitamin C will definitely boost the immune system.

Certain foods may have antibacterial properties, even in topical use. I use chile peppers at the onset of any hint of a sore throat, with complete success to date (and reportedly, all chiles have more vitamin C than do oranges). Zinc-containing foods, including things such as healthful seeds and nuts, are often helpful, as well.

PLENTY OF FOODS WITH VITAMIN C: Citrus fruits are a good source of vitamin C; so are potatoes, peppers, strawberries, melons, tomatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, cabbage, and spinach. ALSO ZINC: The best sources of zinc are red meat, liver, poultry, eggs, certain seafoods, whole grains, and fortified cereals. TRY TO KEEP THESE IN YOUR DIET TO KEEP THAT OLD DOCTOR AWAY FROM YOU. OH AND REMEMBER: an apple a day keeps the doctor away. :)

Fresh food like vegetables, fruits, meat and nuts. You have to eat those in a moderate quantity. Vitamins and minerals are important for your enzymes to work efficiently and promptly. Start from early on, not just when you got infected.
