The Samaritans were from a city in Palestine called Samaria.
The original word was the Hebrew word "Samavreia" and was pronounced "Sam-ar'-i-ah;" which is defined as "guardianship," in the english translation of the word.
Although the following scripture verse coined the term as "the good Samaritan" (Luke 10:29-37) the question I'm asking, is more in the line of, "What makes you personally a good Samaritan?" Don't be shy, please feel free to share your personal testimony, it's for God's glory. Amen.
This question is directed mainly to my fellow Believers in Christ, but all responses are welcome.
