Tell them something along the lines of "I work well under pressure and when multi-tasking" ... that line alone will work wonders and is a shoe in. You can think of creative ways to elaborate on this line depending on the type of call center you're applying for.

You're A People Person, Easy To Talk To, Easy Going, But A Hard Worker, You Take A Job Seriously, You're Honest, Take Directions Well, Don't Have A Problem W/Authority, Willingness To Learn, And Try To Show You Want The Job Badly!

Having been on the interviewer side of things, I can tell you EVERYONE says they have any number of generic, buzzword type traits; a people person, friendly, patient, fast learner, detail oriented, dependable, etc. I mean come on, who is going to announce that if they don't get their daily coffee (starbucks) fix for the day, they have a tendency to systematically make everyone else in the office as miserable as they are, or that they like to sneak out for extended lunches at least 3 times a week, or that they are afraid to take responsibility for their actions and tend to pass the buck whenever they screw up.

I think you could answer the interview question with almost anything positive, but follow it up with an example - some kind of story of how you have demonstrated this behavior in the past. For example one of my best qualities is that I learn very quick, and I might cite my GPA or graduating SumaCumLaude*, or how at my last job I tought myself a scripting language in order to write a program that automated some task that improved productivity. Etc.

* had to make into SumaCumLaude 1 word, stupid yahoo language filter edits out the middle word thinking it's sexual in nature. I.E.- Suma *** Laude. I hate censorship.
