Sounds like it could be pinworms, but pinworms are usually white. The only black worms I can think of that infest humans are human intestinal parasite worms (which are black). It's mainly children that get pinworms and they often complain most about extreme anal itchiness. If he's feeling that and he also feels fatigued, constipated and his stomach is bloated, he should probably see a doctor.
