About four out of seven days a week, I wake up thinking about blowing my brains out. I'd have to say a good deal of it stems from my severe acid reflux disease, and the fact I don't have insurance, or a job right now to fix it. I seriously stare at the cieling and think about painting it with my brains. It's gotten worse and worse and I've been watching reruns of Becker. What should I do?

'cieling'? Except after 'C'! Goddammit! That's the last straw, I'm gonna go kill myself.

The decision to commit suicide is a very poor one but no one can choose whether to live except you. I too have suffered from acid reflux (and a whole lot of other things along the way). But acid reflux is a temporary problem and what you're considering is a permanent thing. Elevate the head of your bed about 4-6 inches. Use a large pillow. Avoid foods that aggravate the problem. Avoid alcohol and tobacco problems. Meat fat makes acid reflux worse. Eat smaller meals. Don't eat before bedtime. Avoid meat and acidic foods in the evening. Find a job. Go to a free clinic or ask DHS for help. Get some mental health counseling that's based on income. These are just a few ideas that might be more advantageous than suicide. But remember, only you can choose whether to protect the gift of life or destroy it.

You should first stop watching reruns of becker. That isnt good for anyones health.
But, the pain is good. Its a constant reminder to us that we are alive. We all have to deal with pain its just an issue of trying to find the best way. Personally, I drown myself in the Internet and my Xbox 360 and have faith that whatever is out there has a plan for me...and all of us, no matter or race, creed or religion. You dont want to blow your brains out, I dont know you and probably will never meet you but this bleak world that we live in wouldn't be quite the same if you werent here. You play an important role my friend, live one day to the next and focus on livin your life, let your worries take a vacation.

SEEK HELP IMMEDIATELY! I was like that before and I had watched every episode of I love Lucy. And some episodes i even knew all of the songs and lines. See if you can go to a free clinic and seep a doctor about medication. Or perhaps try getting to know God. He will never let you down no matter what.(The Bible tells me so) Or if you don't believe in Him for sure get to a free clinic.
