Yes I do believe that love is universal.

No. In order to be universal, it would have to apply to everyone. I don't know that every human being loves or is even capable of love. Some sociopaths, for example.

Yes love exists in all human beings but not for each other. War and death are so ingrained in our history and our present that I have no doubt that universal love will never exist.

I don't believe that the love must be the same, equal toward friends and toward murderer or rapist. We don't want that even evil people died, we must respect their human dignity, but we must not do for them what we are doing for our friends.
Those who pretend to have universal love often don't love anyone.

Definitely. Universal is actually a reference to
"all over the world"--not "across the heavens,
and galaxies."
So, to say that "love is a universal thing" is to
say that's it's something that is known about --
and practiced--internationally.

"love is universal" this sentence does not make any sense. 10 different people take 10 different meaning from it. You have to make the question clear first.

yes because God is universal but that doesnt mean that one knows what love really is because to some, love is lust. To some love is conditional....there are different kinds of love .

I think that it is a feeling that all people are capable of having, however, it is not universal, elements can't love.

I believe there is absolute love, be it on Earth or not. So if that's what you mean, yes.
