your mistake - looking at diet as something to "go on" so no surprise when you get "off" you gain it all back because all you lost was water weight and muscle and slowed down your metabolism which makes a huge contribution to yo-yo cycle.
Diet is a way of life and you have to change yours if you seriously want to lose fat and keep it off.
find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio is the only fat burning exercise and burns fat all over your body (running, jogging, swimming, spinning, elliptical etc) 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), weight training a few days a week but never work on the same muscle group two days in a row (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Well, first of all, there's just no way to get around the basics of exercising more and eating less. If your combined basal metabolism and calories burned through exercise is less than what you eat, you cannot lose weight. This is physics and law of conservation of energy, don't even think of trying to get around this one.
That's not to say that it doens't matter what diet program you use. In fact, if your blood sugar stays pretty high because of the foods that you eat, your insulin levels have to stay high as well to deal with all that glucose. And guess what? Insulin inhibits the fat burning cycle. You can't burn any fat, even if you ate less than normal amounts. So, avoid snacking on high glycemic foods all day, and that includes drinks with a lot of sugars. If you are serious about losing weight, maybe you should not only get an accurate weight scale, but a blood glucose meter as well, so that you can check to see if your glucose levels are where they should be. If they stay too high, you won't lose weight, and, worse, you could end up being diabetic.
My final advice to you is that you establish a long-term habit of eating right and exercising, and wait for your weight to drop to ideal. Any "temporary" diet-and-exercise program will absolutely fail once you're off of the program, and your body is going to hold that against you next time. Don't expect or try to lose more than 1 to 2 pounds per week maximum, if you want to keep it off permanently. Your body needs time to "forget" what it used to weigh, and it sure has got a long memory.

In this generation, we want everything "fast, NOW, HURRY UP!"
This is why losing weight is so hard: pressure.
Use this info darling:
Eat good foods in good amounts. If starting a diet don't cut more than 500 calories at first, and remember that a body is in "starvation" mode when 1200 or less calories a day are taken in.
Move around. Any motion is good motion. Dance your heart out, sing, bike with friends, clean up the house, etc.

A good way is to start getting fit. It may take ages but it is worth it. Go down to your local park/oval and start by running half a lap, then walking half and continue this until you've done 8-10 laps all up. Each week run that extra bit further and walk that little bit less. Your fitness will improve tremendously and you will start to see some changes in your weight.
