no - it doesnt matter what time of the day you eat.
as long as you dont consume more calories than spend during the day you are not gona gain any weight.
dietitians/trainers even advise people who work out in the morning (right after waking up) to drink some protein shake or yogurt with granola etc right before bed to make sure muscles will be fueled for morning.

Biggest myth out there, what gives you a pot belly or makes you fat... to many calories, not enough exercises. If you eat more calories than you burn you get fat. It does not matter what time of day it is.

Not really. It really all matters about calorie intake and calories burned.
but here's the thing. The reason why people always thought eating before bed made them fat was because at night you're more likely to overeat and you're more likely to eat high calorie foods like sweets.
