Am I just out of shape or what? I dont do anything just work and go home, and ive gained 15 lbs. Im sick of it so I started working out, and running a lot. But today ive been sick to my stomach and I got real dizzy after running a mile through town. It was kinda cool outside so I dont think it was heat. Is this just a sign of being out of shape? How long will it take for it to quit?

I find that if i get up really early and start tidying or something like that then it makes me feel hungry so I eat something and immediately feel a lot better so that I can go out and not feel sick. You only feel sick if your body hasn't accepted that you need food yet as you would've only just woken up. Don't make yourself dizzy ever though because you could faint from low blood sugar levels. Hope this helps!

Well anything that you just START doing will make you feel awkward sometimes because your body has become immune to what you used to do. Almost like working out for the first time, your legs become sore and stuff. Anyways, try eating a bannana or some sort of energy bar before going jogging and drink gatoraide or some sort of sports drink.!

good luck!

It might be nutrition. It certainly could be overheating or dehydration. However, it could also be your heart. Or maybe you actually are getting sick; exercising hard when you're coming down with a cold or flu can certainly make you feel nausea and dizziness. I wish you'd mentioned your age. If you're over 40, you probably ought to wander into your doc's office.

definitely need more water. your probably just getting dehydrated. and dont go running right before or after you workout. your body needs protein to do intense work and if you go running right before then your body doesnt have the right amount of protein to build muscle. and if you do it right after than you will just eat up the muscle your tryin to gain. so spread it out. you can do it the same day, just make sure you take about a 2-3 hour break in between.
