The Queen pays taxes on her income which is substantial from the Duchy of Lancaster and other titles and landholdings. She gets a payment from the Civil List which goes towards paying for her official duties. Her Civil List allowance is not taxable, the rest of her income is. It used not to be but it has been for some years now.
The Queen does not indulge in tax avoidance schemes. If all the rich people followed suit and paid their fair share of tax, we would all be paying a lot less.
