You can buy prepared saline spray or you can make your own. Take 1 tsp of Baking Soda and 1 tsp of Salt, mix together. Mix in 1 quart of water, best in hot water. Let cool before using. Then use a baby nasal syringe and suck up some of the solution. Then stand over the sink with nose slightly pointing to the ceiling and squirt the solution in one side. Refill and do the other side. It sounds gross but it works really well. The baking soda buffers the salt.

Also try to sleep with your upper body slightly elevated. This helps keep the drainage draining and not clogging up.

You can go to cvs or eckerds and look for a vicks inhaler but dont buy it because they suck. Look right beside it and you should find an inhaler called benzedrex. It is awsome!!! Its the only thing I have found to totally work!

ahhh

i have nasal allergies myself
so here goes my nightly ritual:
blow your nose
prepare to sleep on your back
keep your nose pointed towards the ceiling
this will help open up your sinuses while sleeping
hope this helps

try the much safer sodium chloride solution (brand name is salinase). it's just like water+salt nasal drops. it will surely unclog your nose. if it's not available in your area, try the 'steam ritual' - hot water + salt, and inhale exhale deeply at constant intervals:)
