I watched a certain video and it just made me think otherwise, meaning I don't believe in God anymore. But my enter family is very religous, and I want to start believing in God again but I can't... What do I do? Could the video be wrong?

God has made great promises to his believers. the one promise that you should be concerned about is where he mentions that if you Deni him before man, he will in return Deni you before his father. (para-phrase) so think about this in case you find out you were wrong and want to change your mind later.

I will admit to not having watched the movie. But, now you are having these thoughts it is time to really consider where your faith comes from and to ask yourself a lot of questions. Yes the video could be wrong, it might be partly wrong......your religion may be wrong for you though too. This is something only you can figure out.
If you end up believing in God again no doubt your belief will be stronger because you have answered your own questions. If you end up not believing that is cool too - there are a lot of us out here who do not. Your family might not like it but they will probably come to terms with it.
I do not think you have to announce your feelings to your family yet. Do some more thinking, talk to some people, read some books on the topic, but most of all enjoy it. Studying things like this & learning more about what you believe & why is one of the best things you can do for yourself. Just don't be afraid of the questions

I've just watched about five minutes of it and this is great; I love it. This should be mandatory watching in grade school. Thanks for sharing this. =] Going back to watch the rest now. Regarding your family; I am in the same boat. In my case, they all know and we just don't discuss religion or politics either. I would not go out a a limb and advise you what you should do. Only you are in a position to do that. Good Luck.
Before I left I looked at the answers above mine. Only two or three were given by rational people. The rest don't have the time to consider other possibilities. Some tell you not to believe in movies yet they believe in an ancient text that is absolutely ludicrous. I've been watching for an hour. Will finish tomorrow. So far I find this very interesting and educational.

Of course the video is wrong. Your heart knows God, because God is loving. What you have to do is reconnect your heart with your mind. A good step in this direction would be to say an "Our Father" at least once a day. Here are the words in case you don't know them...
Our Father, who art in heaven
hallowed be thy name
thy kingdom come, thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven
give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us

I don't know what is in this video but if you want to believe in God you need to relate to Him. He is like a Father who will love you more than you will ever love yourself. He is patient and kind, gentle,faithful,polite, and protective. He is even jealous for you when you stray from Him. You can read about His love for you in the bible in the book of 1 Corinthians chapter13. and the books of John(the gospel) and the smaller epistles of first,second,and third John. Jesus is the revelation of your Father's heart. He said if you have seen Him you have seen the Father. The more you read about Jesus the more you will understand the Father in heaven. If you have any questions, ask Him for specific answers. He is real, and will answer you. You might have to wait sometimes. If you do just keep asking, and you shall receive.

First verse : I will put no EVIL thing before my eyes. That's why we have to be carefull what we put before our eyes and ears. satan loves to plant those seeds of doubt. He started In the garden with Eve. He doesn't have an original thought.Repent and ask God to forgive you and He will. The days are evil redeem the time......When you watch/listen to this type of thing you're Inviting the powers of satan Into your mind. What you see or listen to becomes part of you. Remove the junk and ask Jesus to help you....

There is so much to consider who can tell whats real or not real. I say what you believe is the thing that will carry you through life. I have believed in God all my life so that's what I believe in. Only you can make the decision of what or who you truly believe in.

ok-- I've seen this stuff before. You are going to have to decide if you believe in God. He told us he would tell us if we seeked him. I would read the bible and pray. I've found in my life that God wants to see if you want to really follow him. If you are not trying to have a relationship with him you will not know him. It would be like me dating someone but never talking/listening-- and after a several months wanting to get married. There's not relationship, so it won't work. And like all relationships they take work.
